Question: Hi, I have previously filed for Chapter 13 in Washington, DC and it was discharged because I couldn’t make the payments. Now, two years later, I live in Brooklyn and still have debts. I have just found out I am losing my job shortly and will not have income. To make a fresh start, can I file for Chapter 7? My only income will be unemployment benefits.
